Rey Véliz

Soy un Artista Plástico nacido en La Habana (Cuba) donde me gradué de Bellas Artes en la prestigiosa Academia Provincial de Bellas Artes de San Alejandro. Allí realicé varias exposiciones personales y colectivas, y algunas de mis obras han llegado a colecciones particulares no solo en Cuba, si no también en diferentes países del mundo como Portugal, Estados Unidos, Francia, España, México y Brasil.

Desde el año 2006 resido en Madrid (España) donde he continuado cursando estudios de Bellas Artes en diferentes academias como la Academia C10 y la prestigiosa “Madrid Academy of Art”. Esto ha consolidado mi formación como un artista que navega por diferentes estilos pictóricos y que lo mismo puede centrarse en un arte figurativo, realista y concreto o un arte surrealista con un total vuelo de la imaginación.

I am a visual artist born in Havana, Cuba, where I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the prestigious San Alejandro Provincial Academy of Fine Arts. There, I held several solo and group exhibitions, and some of my works have entered private collections not only in Cuba but also in various countries around the world, including Portugal, the United States, France, Spain, Mexico, and Brazil.

Since 2006, I have lived in Madrid, Spain, where I have continued my Fine Arts studies at various academies, such as the C10 Academy and the prestigious Madrid Academy of Art. This has solidified my development as an artist who explores different painting styles and can focus equally well on figurative, realistic, and concrete art as on surrealist art with a free rein of the imagination.
